Overarching Abstract Competition Theme:
Embracing value-based care practices that
improve health outcomes and transforms healthcare delivery
Share your initiatives that demonstrate the positive impact of adopting clinically- and cost-effective health technologies (e.g. drugs, devices, diagnostics, interventions, or vaccines) to drive value-based care changes in healthcare delivery. Examples include prescribing behaviour to use only clinically- and cost-effective health technologies.
Share your initiatives that involve the implementation of evidence-based guidelines for managing specific clinical condition(s); enhancements to operational efficiency (e.g. reducing wait times); use of communications and collaborations that improve care coordination/ transitions (e.g. interdisciplinary or across healthcare settings); care model/ service transformation; or innovative projects for quality and safety improvement.

Abstracts must be received by 3rd June 2024, 12:00PM SGT and submitted to ACE_HTA@mov.gov.sg. Your email subject should indicate “VBHC Conference 2024 Abstract Submission – Category **”.

Who should submit an abstract?
Abstract submissions are open to all healthcare professionals and administrators from Singapore’s public healthcare institutions.
Selection Process
Abstracts will be reviewed by our expert panel, considering their relevance, innovation and potential impact on advancing Value-Based Care adoption. Shortlisted abstracts will be featured in a dedicated poster session during Day 1 of the conference or oral presentations taking place on Day 2 of the main conference.
Conference organisers will notify applicants who are shortlisted for poster or oral presentations by 1st August 2024. The best presentations will receive awards.

Submission Guidelines
- Abstracts should be written (and presented where relevant) in English.
- Abstracts should not exceed 300 words – Title, authors and affiliations are not included in the word count.
- Abstracts should be concise and clearly outline the Objectives, Background, Methods, Results and Conclusion.
- Non-adherence to the submission guidelines may lead to your abstracts not being considered for presentations.
- Author Information: Provide the names, affiliations, and contact details of all contributing authors.
